About Me

Judy Posey Limited

I've been working with glass and metal for a few decades. I started working with it when I wanted a piece and found it was very expensive. There was a glass studio near my house in Oak Ridge, Texas and I took classes and bought glass and tools. Then I had a studio in the garage and built the "Paradise" piece there using the lead came technique. (My only lead came piece - I just don't have the room or equipment so focus on copper foil technique and now into slumping.) My pieces, glass, tools, and equipment have moved with me across five cities in two states.

My stained glass practice is split among art piece creation (my favorite), commission work (second favorite), and what I think of as 'trinkets' - candle holders, jewelry boxes, pencil cups, business card holders, etc. The trinkets are reasonably priced and subsequently simple pieces that I hope will add color and pattern and a bit of whimsy to your decor.
